Media round up

Our senior researcher, Alec Haglund, made his broadcast debut in an interview on LBC about supermarkets’ plans to introduce digital price tags, which sparked fears of dynamic pricing. Our Co-Executive Director, Sara Hall, also had an op-ed in LBC, arguing that the debate over what appears on Britain’s banknotes distracts from the important issue of dwindling cash acceptance in the UK.

Our comments on bank profits appeared in The Mirror (twice), photos of our action outside the Bank of England made their way into The Telegraph, The Express and The Guardian (twice), and we pushed back against calls to re-introduce the two-child benefit cap in The Telegraph.

Positive Money’s briefing on how the Bank of Korea (BOK) can step up its climate work received over a dozen media hits across five countries (English-language highlights include Asian Banking and Finance, The Banker and Green Central Banking). Plus, our scorecards were used to grill the new BOK Governor on climate (featured in Korean-language outlets Hankyung and Daum).
