Positive Money retreat 2017

Every year Positive Money leaders of today and tomorrow come together for a weekend of sharing ideas, skills and stories – for the annual Positive Money Retreat. In September 2017, 35 supporters, along with a few staff and board members, from Positive Money gathered in Ambleside in the Lake District.

The retreat is for people who are passionate about fixing the money system and who want to be part of building the community that is going to make that happen. And the 2017 retreat was no different in bringing together a diverse and inspiring group of individuals, who evolved into a more connected and fired-up team after two days and nights together.

Sessions range from learning more about Positive Money’s analysis of the Positive Money system, to where Positive Money has come from and where it’s going, to better understanding ourselves and our motivations for being part of this movement, to skills like engaging politicians and the media.

We shared good food and wine, walks amongst the hills, and a lot of rich conversations, in one of the UK’s most beautiful settings.
