Positive Money is hosting a four days international training for organisers of monetary reform campaigns from Europe and beyond. The session will take place in Brussels from 18th – 22nd February, 2016.
This training is targeted at people outside UK who are passionate about money reform and keen to bring about change; and take an active role in the International Movement for Monetary Reform (IMMR) – either by joining a national movement or by creating a new organisation where none currently exists.
The aim of this training session is to:
- Develop campaigning and organising skills
- Develop distributed leadership throughout our movement
- Build relationships between national groups
- Enhance international cooperation
We particularly encourage applications from women and Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Groups as they are currently under represented. Please fill in this application form by Sunday December 13th at 6pm.
All applications will be carefully reviewed, with a preference for people who demonstrate a strong ability to turn ideas into concrete and achievable actions points, motivation for beyond borders cooperation, and experience in campaigning – or strong desire to learn about it.
Some financial assistance will be provided if you cannot make it otherwise – please specify this when writing your application.
