4) Available Now: Where Does Money Come From?
There’s been a great response to Where Does Money Come From?, co-authored by Positive Money’s Andrew Jackson and colleagues from the New Economics Foundation. The book is already being used as the sole required reading for an economics degree course at City University! After selling out, the book has been reprinted and is available again:
The book is based on over 500 original documents from the Bank of England and other banking authorities, with a foreword by one of the leading authorities in banking, Prof Charles Goodhart. It’s the most comprehensive and authoritative guide to how money is created ever published, and reveals that most of the textbooks are very much out of date.
