Positive Money Marching for the Real Alternative on Saturday – Banking Reform!

This Saturday we’ll be turning out for the massive anti-cuts demonstrations planned by the TUC. London is likely to be a very busy place on Saturday, so we’re suggesting that we meet at 11am outside Reed, next to Chancery Lane Tube station – around an hour before the actual march, to meet and greet each other and get ready for what will likely be a good day out!!
You can find out more information about the march, the route, and the schedule here.
We are marching primarily under the banner of the One Good Cut campaign we have organised. You may have seen this video in the last month or two…
We set up the One Good Cut campaign to show the anti-cuts movement a real alternative to spending cuts – one that could be implemented easily to raise enough revenue to cover the deficit – and to prevent our economy ending up in this situation ever again.
Whether you think the state needs to be rolled back or not, I’m sure we can all agree that cutting the Education Maintenance Allowance or other socially useful programmes is far less preferable to removing the biggest subsidy of all: allowing private banks to create and lend out the entire money supply.
If anybody can design a banner or a placard for Positive Money or the One Good Cut campaign to take along, or send out to everybody to print off, please get in touch with us as soon as possible! Designs clearly stating what we are marching for, an end to the benefits we provide to bankers, and end to fractional reserve banking, monetary reform, full reserve banking etc. are ideal, there will be plenty of cameras around!
We hope to see you there on Saturday….
