Head of Campaigns

Positive Money is a think tank and campaign organisation working to reimagine our money and banking system for the wellbeing of people, communities and the planet. We have offices in London, Brussels and the US, and are part of a growing movement for economic systems change. Our mission is to reform money and banking in order to build a fair, democratic and sustainable economy.

We are recruiting for a Head of Campaigns to lead our mobilisation programme. The role involves leading all people-powered campaigns and projects within the mobilisation programme. You will work in close collaboration with the research and influencing programme leads to develop strategies for our core areas of work. This is a great opportunity for an experienced people-powered campaigner and digital strategist, eager to put people at the heart of economic systems change. Affordable homes for everyone, transitioning to the green economy, community-owned banks, a democratic money system – this role is all about designing engaging campaigns that empower the public to create lasting system change.

Contract: The role is for an initial fixed term of 1 year with a 6-month probationary period. After a year if the contract is extended, a permanent contract will be offered.

Salary: Grade 6, full time rate of £43,500 per annum + 8% pension contribution (pro rata if working 4 days per week). Rising to £46,250 after 2 years in the role.

Hours: 28 or 35 hours per week (4 or 5 days). Requests for flexible working will be considered.

Location: Flexible between our London office or remotely from other locations.

Deadline: We are running a rolling recruitment process. Applications will be processed when they are received, and selected applicants will be invited to interview within one week. All applications received prior to 15th December will be considered.

We hope the successful candidate would be able to start in February 2023, or sooner.

How to Apply: Please download and read the full JOB DESCRIPTION for more details on the role, then fill out the APPLICATION FORM in full.
