Brilliant TEDx talk by Mick Taylor! Mick is a former teacher of mathematics with a PhD in mathematical epidemiology. He explains eloquently the problems with our money system as well as the principles of necessary reform in a very engaging way in just 15 minutes:
Mick is fascinated by human systems, particular in monetary systems and how the design of our money supply impacts on all aspects of human life. Mick is obsessed by the emergence of social structures, such as families, communities or regions. He recently launched OurFest, a not-for-profit festival with a flat organisational hierarchy, whereby the festival’s success is dependent on the contributions and interactions of the participants.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
