12 highlights from 2022

Alongside our rally outside the Bank of England, Positive Money Liverpool set up their own Financial Crime Scene outside their local HSBC and getting some great photos while they were at it. They also ran a #10YearsOn stall, handing out leaflets in the city centre, explaining what Positive Money is all about.

Liverpool organiser John Smith spoke on BBC radio Merseyside to let the community know all about their stunt. He did an excellent job explaining the local protest was part of a much wider movement, with events happening simultaneously all over the UK and Europe. He also discussed how each household has lost £23,000 as a result of the 2008 crash, and why we need a Sovereign Money system!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to John, and all our local groups organisers for putting their time and energy into making #10YearsOn a campaign that resonated across the country. We’re very proud to see local events happening in Merseyside, Manchester, Sheffield, Derbyshire, Newcastle and Edinburgh, and more. Thank you all for being a part of Positive Money, and making this campaign such a success.
