Positive Money is a think tank and campaign organisation working to reimagine our money and banking system for the wellbeing of people, communities and the planet. We have offices in London, Brussels and the US, and are part of a growing movement for economic systems change. Our mission is to reform money and banking in order to build a fair, democratic and sustainable economy.
We are recruiting for an International Head of Green Finance to lead on the development of Positive Money’s global green central banking scorecard project, and feed into our wider green finance and macroeconomic work in the UK and internationally. You will be conducting research, developing policy positions, and engaging with policymakers, collaborating most closely with our UK team, while also supporting our EU and US teams, and building relationships in Asia. This is a great opportunity for an established researcher and policy expert focused on aligning central banking and financial regulation with social and environmental goals, and scaling up green investment on a global scale.
Contract: The role is for an initial fixed term of 1 year with a 6-month probationary period. After a year if the contract is extended, a permanent contract will be offered.

Hours: 28 or 35 hours per week (4 or 5 days). Requests for flexible working will be considered.
Benefits: We offer a range of staff benefits including: generous annual leave provision and enhanced sick pay, increasing with length of service; family friendly benefits including enhanced parental pay; provision for additional time off to support staff wellbeing; flexible working policy; training and development budgets are also available to staff (full details in job description)
Location: Flexible between our London office or remotely from other UK locations. In addition to UK-based candidates, we are also open to applications from candidates based in Belgium or the US, as we have offices there as well.
