Dr. Joshua Farley is an ecological economist, Professor in Community Development & Applied Economics, and Fellow at the Gund Institute for Environment at UVM. He holds a BS in biology from Grinnell College, a MIA from Columbia University, and a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Cornell University. He is currently co-director of the Ecological Economics Network Strategy Center of the Leadership for the Ecozoic initiative at UVM. He co-authored, with Herman Daly, Ecological Economics, Principles and Applications (Island Press, 2003).
