Paul joined Positive Money in 2017. He oversees operations, finance, fundraising, and HR, and supports our board on governance matters. Paul has also developed governance and operations systems for our EU and US offices. Prior to Positive Money, Paul worked for six years at the Institute for Public Policy Research. He studied English at The University of Oxford and has an MA in International Politics from the University of Manchester. He is also a trustee of Carney’s Community, a charity working with disadvantaged youth in South London.

Paul has been Co-Executive Director since 2022, and previously worked as Chief Operating Officer since 2017. He has led our development into an international NGO and the creation of our EU and US offices. He co-leads the UK team, leads our business planning and supervises all operational elements of the organisation including finance, fundraising, HR and governance. Previously Paul worked for six years at the Institute for Public Policy Research. He is also a trustee and former chair of Carney’s Community, a charity working with disadvantaged young people in South London.
