Prof Steve Keen

Steve Keen is the Professor of Economics and Head of the School of Economics, Politics and History at Kingston University, London. He is a prominent critic of conventional economics. Steve’s dynamic approach to economics, in which banks, debt and money play an integral role, meant that he was one of a handful of economists to predict the 2007 financial crisis.

His book, Debunking Economics, explains the many logical and empirical flaws in mainstream (and Marxian) economics without using mathematics. It has been translated into Chinese, French and Spanish. Steve also has about 70 other academic publications.
